Flower Girl Style to Keep in Mind

Your wedding gown as a bride is, of course, among the first things you will want to think of when it comes to the big day. But aside from that, there are many other important “characters” who will play an important role at the wedding as well: the groom (obviously), the bridesmaids, the flower girl and so on.

If you have already chosen your flower girl (or girls, for that matter), but you don’t know what style would be best for their tiny dresses, make sure to follow these tips:
Choose a more formal dress for the flower girl if your wedding is quite formal. However, if you want to be more informal with your wedding, the flower girl’s dress can be more casual too.
When it comes to the colors, most of the flower girls will be dressed in white, same as the bride (sometimes even the same shade of white). However, that is not a necessary rule and, if you want to, you can choose your flower girl to dress in whatever color you like: from pastels to very bright colors. If you want, you can match your flower girl’s dress with something on your dress: a colored bow, the bridal bouquet, and so on.
Choose a fabric that will not wrinkle very quickly. Unlike grown-ups, kids are not very careful when they sit down and your flower girl’s dress could easily crinkle if the fabric is not of a high quality.
Take into consideration the season in which the wedding will take place too – you don’t want your little friend to get a cold!
If you choose a tea-length dress, remember that the socks should match since they will be noticeable. Also, regardless of the length of the dress, make sure that the flowers, the basket and the shoes of your flower girl will go well with the dress too.
