Try these unexpected bridal looks that work!

Your wedding should be just as unique as the love story behind it – and this includes everything wedding-related, from the floral décor to the dress you wear. What are some of the most unique bridal looks to look into when it comes to picking the perfect gown and accessories? We have gathered some really beautiful ideas to inspire you – so make sure to read on and find out more.

· Colored wedding dress. Your dress doesn’t have to be white. In fact, it can be just about any other color of the rainbow if that’s what makes you happy. The tradition of the wedding dress is only a couple centuries old and although it has caught on really fast and everybody seems to follow it almost “religiously”, the truth is that nothing should make you wear something you don’t want to. For example, a red wedding dress will look simply spectacular on you as a bride!

· Ombre wedding dress. Your dress doesn’t have to be in one color either. An ombre dress that starts as white and ends up as faded blush pink or silver would look so beautiful and it’s more than worth giving it a try if you want something more than unique.

· Flowers. Your bridal bouquet does not have to be the only flower “on” you. Pick a dress with a floral design and you will really fit in the whole idea of a Spring/Summer wedding. Also, the flowers can be any color you may like, from red to simply another shade of white.

No matter what type of wedding dress you may be searching for, Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique can offer it to you. Come visit us and take a look around. With all the splendid designer dresses in our store, it’s almost impossible not to find the one

Consider this before planning your destination wedding

Destination weddings have a special kind of charm that make many couples settle for the idea. However, destination weddings are far from easy when it comes to planning them and you should be prepared to face certain things you wouldn’t have to face otherwise. What are some of the most important issues to keep in mind? Read on and find out more.

· You will most likely receive a lot of “No” RSVPs. No matter how much people love weddings and travelling, some of your guests may not be able to attend your wedding – either because they already made other plans or because they cannot afford it.

· You will have to block the perfect hotel. If you want all of your guests to find accommodation, the best thing to do is to book a hotel for them. Make sure you choose something that’s both affordable and of a good quality too.

· You will have to ship a lot of things. From the guests’ welcome bags to your honeymoon luggage, there will be a lot of things you will want to ship ahead of you. Make sure you create a list and that you don’t forget about anything!

· You will have to work with vendors from afar. Since you will probably not be able to visit your destination every week and talk to your vendors about your ideas and requests, you will have to learn how to deal with them from afar. Even more, you will have to get used to the idea that you might have to book a venue you haven’t seen “in person” yet.

Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique holds a gorgeous collection of designer wedding gowns ready to be tried out by equally gorgeous brides-to-be! Come visit us and pick your favorite destination wedding dress! There’s no way you will not love what we have in store for you!

Coordinate your bridesmaids dresses with your wedding gown!

Most likely, your bridesmaids are the most special ladies in your life – and you will want them to look just as gorgeous as you do on your wedding day. If you want a classy look for them, why not coordinate their dresses with your wedding gown? Here’s some suggestions on how you can do this.

· The same cut. You can have the same cut for your bridesmaids’ dresses as you do for your wedding gown. For instance, if you will be wearing an A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline, they could be wearing the same type of dress. To make them a bit different, you can choose different straps for their gowns or you can accessorize them differently too.

· Color coordination. Of course, you will most probably not want your bridesmaids to wear the same color as you do. However, if your gown has touches of color on it, you can coordinate their dresses with it. Even more, you can coordinate their dresses with the colors in your bridal bouquet as well.

· The accessories. You can also coordinate your bridesmaids’ look with your own by picking the same type of accessories for them. For instance, you could choose the same design for their clutch purses (but in a different color than yours). Moreover, you can coordinate your hairstyles too. For example, if you will be wearing your hair in a chignon, you could choose something very similar for their hairstyles too.

Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique holds an impressive collection of wedding gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses that will look absolutely stunning together. We take pride in bringing some of the world’s most famous names in our store – so if you want your bridesmaids to be breathtakingly beautiful for your wedding day, you should definitely contact us and take a look at our options!

Grooms, make sure you know how to do your job!

Being a bride is a difficult “job” – but sometimes, being a groom can be equally difficult too. Of course, weddings do tend to be a lot about the brides – but that doesn’t mean the groom shouldn’t chip in and bring their own contribution to the Big Day too. How to make sure you are doing your “job” the right way? Here are some tips you should really keep in mind:

· Do help her plan the wedding. After all, this day is about both of you no matter what “tradition” says. This is a day to celebrate your love for each other and your willingness to commit to each other for the rest of your lives. This is about you just as much as it is about her too.

· Listen to her. Even if you don’t have any kind of idea when it comes to planning the Big Day, listen to her at least and give your honest opinion when she asks for it. If she doesn’t like it, talk to her (calmly!) and see why she doesn’t want it for the wedding.

· Make compromises. If you really want something for the Big Day and she doesn’t, make sure you learn how to reach compromise solutions too. For instance, if you really, really want a chocolate cake, talk to her and see if this couldn’t be included in the wedding rehearsal or as a “side” to the bigger cake.

· Do all this from the very beginning. Don’t start bringing your own ideas into the play towards the end of the wedding planning process because it will most likely lead to endless fights. Be there from the very beginning, communicate with her and be honest. You will have a wedding that’s truly unforgettable for sure!
