Flower Girl Style to Keep in Mind

Your wedding gown as a bride is, of course, among the first things you will want to think of when it comes to the big day. But aside from that, there are many other important “characters” who will play an important role at the wedding as well: the groom (obviously), the bridesmaids, the flower girl and so on.

If you have already chosen your flower girl (or girls, for that matter), but you don’t know what style would be best for their tiny dresses, make sure to follow these tips:
Choose a more formal dress for the flower girl if your wedding is quite formal. However, if you want to be more informal with your wedding, the flower girl’s dress can be more casual too.
When it comes to the colors, most of the flower girls will be dressed in white, same as the bride (sometimes even the same shade of white). However, that is not a necessary rule and, if you want to, you can choose your flower girl to dress in whatever color you like: from pastels to very bright colors. If you want, you can match your flower girl’s dress with something on your dress: a colored bow, the bridal bouquet, and so on.
Choose a fabric that will not wrinkle very quickly. Unlike grown-ups, kids are not very careful when they sit down and your flower girl’s dress could easily crinkle if the fabric is not of a high quality.
Take into consideration the season in which the wedding will take place too – you don’t want your little friend to get a cold!
If you choose a tea-length dress, remember that the socks should match since they will be noticeable. Also, regardless of the length of the dress, make sure that the flowers, the basket and the shoes of your flower girl will go well with the dress too.
For a cute and beautiful selection of flower girl dresses, don’t forget to visit Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique. We offer all types of gowns and attire for weddings and they all look stunning!

Finding “The One”, that dress that will make you look and feel like true royalty can be indeed stressful. Come and visit us at the Justin Alexander trunk show!

Justin Alexander is one of our favorite design houses. Their eponymous line, Justin Alexander, and diffusion range Justin Signature, combine timeless elegance with the very latest in bridal fashions.

This weekend, the Justin Alexander lines will be joining us exclusively for their latest trunk show. We will be previewing new designs from the 2015 collections, and a few past season styles which we haven’t had the chance to feature on our boutique floor.

We are big fans of the trunk show experience at Suzanne’s Bridal Boutique. When it comes to choosing your wedding dress, it’s all in the touch. You need to feel the fabric, examine the detailing and most importantly, feel the dress once it’s on you. But unfortunately our store is not big enough to stock every wedding dress in the world. While we always try to keep the most exclusive and popular dresses in our store, the trunk shows are a rare opportunity to see what other designs and patterns our designers are able to offer.

Come on over and see us for the Justin Alexander and Justin Signature trunk show on August 15th & 16th. So that all of our brides-to-be have an opportunity to browse and try on, our show is by appointment only. Give us a call to set up your visit! Our number is 480.926.9106

Any dress bought during the trunk show will be eligible for a 10% discount when paid for in full, so you could nab a bargain as well as a top of the range wedding look.

Visit us at our next trunk show at Suzanne's Bridal Boutique, 645 N. Gilbert Rd, Suite #174, Gilbert, AZ 85234.

How to Choose the Right Pair of Wedding Shoes

Weddings are supposed to be fun but walking around all day with a poorly fitted pair of shoes may actually take the fun out of your wedding experience. With that in mind, it is important to have comfortable shoes on during your wedding reception.

Below you will find some advice on how to ensure your feet don't become your worse enemy at your wedding:

  • First and foremost you need to pick out shoes that match your dress. We have a wide variety of comfortable wedding shoes to pick from in our boutique. Make sure that you choose shoes that go with your dress color. If you find comfortable shoes but they're the wrong color, consider dying them.

  • Some wedding reception venues have antique wooden floors and may not allow you to wear sharp heels. It is recommended that you check for any such rules because this can have a great influence on the kind of shoes you choose for your wedding.

  •  Prepare your feet for the shoes and the wedding by treating yourself to a pedicure. Relaxed feet are bound to make you feel even more comfortable and your feet will look fabulous.

  • Shoes, as opposed to the wedding dress can be worn in the future at other events. Make sure you choose a comfortable pair of wedding shoes with a classic design that will survive the wedding.

Having the right shoes to wear on your wedding day will keep you feeling confident and comfortable and ready to let loose on the dance floor at your wedding reception. At Suzanne's Bridal Boutique, you can be sure you'll find a wide variety of shoes in multiple colors, sizes and designs to make sure that you have your favorite designer shoe that fit perfectly on this special day.
