Spring 2013 Wedding Color Trends

Spring is a magical time -- all the flowers are blooming, the weather is warming up, and it's the height of wedding season. Of course, this means it's also time for a lot of great new wedding color trends. Here are a few of our favorites.

  • Pastels with a twist. While pastels are always popular wedding colors, this spring there are some changes to the usual uses. Brides are opting for a touch of color in their own dresses -- pink and mint green being the top choices.
  • Ombres. Another way pastels are making their way into weddings is as part of an ombre. This is a great way to have a single wedding color, but allow bridesmaids to have a range of shade choices within it. It also looks great for cakes and floral arrangements.
  • Greys. It might not be the color you immediately associate with weddings, but grey is a big one for spring. It's being used in combination with brighter colors, especially yellow, pink, and blue. This keeps them from being overwhelming, and keeps the grey from being too somber.
What are your favorite spring wedding color trends? If you want to find out how to use any of these in your wedding, give us a call!

Dyanna has a Dynamite Wedding Day!

Mama said there'd be days like this...

I married my best friend, Kyle on July 20th at Saguaro Buttes in Tucson, Arizona

.

My colors were teal and yellow.

My photographers were Something Blue Photographers.

"I was so nervous to get married during the Monsoon season and was tracking the weather as soon as my date was available on weather.com! Long story short, there was a huge monsoon that hit an hour before our ceremony started. I was freaking out!!!! The rain suddenly stopped as soon as I walked down the isle to one of Kyle and I's favorite songs, "She's my kind of rain" by Tim McGraw...so it actually kinda worked out in a cute way. We took our pictures in the light light rain and were able to get some AMAZING wedding photos with the cloudy skies. I wouldn't have had it any other way...
Thank you so much, Suzanne, you are such a sweet person!!" ~ Dyanna

Talk about brides that touch your heart.. Dyanna is one for sure! She's rocking the day in her Maggie Sottero gown "Jenna" - It's a perfect fit for her style and personality! We're so happy your day was unforgettable and that we shared a little part of it with you.  Some days you just have to dance in the rain... when the thunder rolls. ;)
Wishing you the best always,
