Maggie, Maggie, MAGGIE!

At Suzanne's Bridal Boutique, we are beyond excited for our Maggie Sottero Trunk Show happening this weekend! I don't know what it is about Maggie trunk shows that turns the boutique into a house of crazy happiness, but it happens every time her show comes to town. Maybe it's that we're getting our hands on the latest merchandise from Maggie for the first time - or perhaps it's the innovation and luxury that seems to be sewn into every gown - or maybe...just maybe...it's just good ol' Maggie Magic! LOL!

All I know is that we're super stoked to be presenting the Maggie Sottero Fall 2014 collection on August 1st & 2nd. Judging by our appointment book, our brides are excited, too! It's going to be a full house, but we'll have treats and sweets on hand to keep smiles on everyone's faces (as if the stunning gowns weren't enough!).

Las Vegas Love: Pretty in Paris- Real Bride Sharill

 When getting married, there is a choice between choosing a venue based on accessibility for everyone to attend, or picking a venue your heart desires. 

Picking a venue that's easy to travel to is the best option when faced with such a tough decision, somewhere with a large airport, and many different accommodation choices. 

Our bride Sharill did just that, she planned her wedding in the city that never sleeps- Las Vegas!

"My experience started with Heather at Suzanne’s bridal.  It wasn't until I actually put on a dress that I really felt like I was really getting married.  Her ability to know what would make me look amazing was what led me to my dream dress.  I have always had weight issues, and dress shopping was very stressful for me.  I always felt beautiful in my dress – every time I put it on."

"We got married at the Paris Hotel in Vegas.  Destination wedding – but STILL had close to 90 guests attend.  My husband and I are both ultra runners (hence the running shoes), and we wanted our guests to all wear their running shoes too, if they wanted (and almost all of them did).  As it turned out – our officiant was ALSO a runner.  He made our ceremony extra special.  We both wrote our own vows, and we had laughs, tears and much happiness throughout the ceremony.  We catered a reception at the buffet at the Paris Hotel.  BEST idea EVER!  To this day, people are still telling me we had the best wedding food of any wedding they've ever been to…as they got to eat what they wanted (and the Paris has an amazing buffet)!"

Nikki: Country Elegant Wedding in Northern Arizona

 I met Nikki months ago, when she came into our bridal boutique having sort of an idea of what she was looking for... but like many newly engaged shoppers not sure what she'd find - until she tried on this Maggie Sottero creation:

I married my best friend, Kyle on July 20th at Saguaro Buttes in Tucson, Arizona

.

 

My colors were teal and yellow.

 My photographers were Something Blue Photographers.

 

 

"I was so nervous to get married during the Monsoon season and was tracking the weather as soon as my date was available on weather.com! Long story short, there was a huge monsoon that hit an hour before our ceremony started. I was freaking out!!!! The rain suddenly stopped as soon as I walked down the isle to one of Kyle and I's favorite songs, "She's my kind of rain" by Tim McGraw...so it actually kinda worked out in a cute way. We took our pictures in the light light rain and were able to get some AMAZING wedding photos with the cloudy skies. I wouldn't have had it any other way...
