Our Fall Sample Sale Happens Wednesday Night!

We're getting SO excited for our Fall Sample Sale happening on Wednesday, October 15th from 5 pm to 10 pm. That's right - we're keeping our doors open late just so you can save! Tons of sample gowns from ALL of our collections - bridal, bridesmaid, mothers', prom, pageant, and special occasion - are going to be up to 75% off! What a score! And don't worry, there will be a large selection of sizes and styles for you to choose from.

We anticipate that lots of ladies will be joining us for this one-night-only sale, so we came up with a few rules to keep the night running smoothly:

- Gowns will be up to 75% off (they will be clearly marked and signs will be posted)

- No appointment necessary

- First come, first served

- Sale is on clearance merchandise only (discontinued and/or non-reoderable, in-stock, sample gowns)

- No regular priced or special order merchandise will be sold during this sale (please make an appointment to come back)

- The gown you see is the gown you get. All gowns sold AS IS

- No services included in the price of the gown (alts, dress bag, cleaning, pressing, repair, etc.)

- We will not store sale gowns

- We will not hold any gowns

 - ALL SALES WILL BE FINAL

- This is a CASH ONLY sale. No debit cards, credit cards, or checks

- Brides will be limited to 2 gowns per fitting room and (when there is a wait) 10 minutes per room

- This is a self-serve sale. Bridal consultants will be on hand to answer questions, ring up pirchases, and insure fair play

- Brides should come preparedl they may want to wear a strapless bra and bring a pair of shoes to try on with

- Limit of two guests per bride (3 person per party, total)

Rosina takes Chicago!

 

As assistant manager of Suzanne's Bridal Boutique, I am lucky enough to attend the National Bridal Market as a wedding gown buyer for the upcoming bridal season. This past weekend I flew to Chicago (along with our manager, Tiffany, and Felicia, one of our wonderful consultants) in search of the best wedding and prom gowns available for Spring 2013. I am happy to report back that we found what we were looking for and so much more!

From lace and beading, to long trains or destination styles, our fantastic designers did not disappoint. They showed up to wow us - So much so, that we had a hard time choosing which ones will come to our boutique this next year.

 After careful deliberation and patient guidance from Tiffany, we were able to narrow it down to the best of the best. Not only did we find what's hot for wedding gowns and prom for next season, but also accessories, and let's not forget our bridesmaids who need to look their best as well. I can't wait to see our beautiful brides wearing these gowns down the aisle on their dream day!

I'm Exhausted! But it was worth it for the experience I had at National Bridal Market! I was lucky enough to meet some of our excellent designers including Justin Alexander and Kitty Chen, I even got to shake hands with David Tutera! 

In authentic Chicago style I won't forget the pizza, hot dogs, or scary cab rides that contributed to a successful whirlwind trip!!

Prom Dress or Wedding Gown?

Not every bride is dreaming of cathedral length trains, ornate bead work, and Cinderella style ball gowns. Some brides just want a fun, white dress with a li'l sparkle. And that's okay.

We're the kind of bridal store that encourages brides to think outside of the box...be creative...do something different. So it's no problem to us if a bride decides she wants to buy a non-traditional, special occasion dress as her wedding gown.

We've Got A Lafee Prom Scholarship Finalist!

We love, love, love when our customers win things from our designers! Designers post contests all the time and there is nothing more exciting than to find out that one of our girls has won something. So you can imagine how excited we were to find out that one of our prom customers, Theresa S. (we hope we're spelling your name right!), was announced as a finalist in the Lafee Prom Scholarship contest. In order to even be a finalist, Theresa had to submit a photo of herself in a Lafee gown and an essay about her well-rounded life as a high school student. Now that it's down to the top five, it will be up to the public to go, read her essay, check out her photo, and vote for her to win a $2,500.00 college scholarship. Wouldn't that be amazing if she won!?!
Voting will start on July 1st on the Lafee Prom website. We'll be posting soon about how you can help Theresa win.

The Lafee Scholarship Contest

It's that time of year again...the Lafee Scholarship search is on!  Lafee, designer of some of the most fun and fabulous prom gowns around, is looking for well rounded girls that are involved in their community and high school.  If that's you, here's what you need to do:

1 - Come by Suzanne's Bridal Boutique to snap a picture of you in a Lafee gown - and since we know you're gonna love, you should buy it to wear to prom, too!
2 - Once you've got your picture (and your dress!), write a 400 word essay about yourself (it's shorter than it sounds).  Be sure to tell about your school and community involvement and your leadership skills. 
3 - Submit your essay here!

How easy is that!?!  Here's what you could win:
Grand Prize: $2,500 College scholarship, your picture in a Lafee advertisement, and a fashion show sponsred by Suzanne's Bridal Boutique!
1st Runner Up: $1,500 College scholarship
2nd Runner Up: $1,000 College scholarship
