New York Bridal Market Trend Report: Wedding Gown Turned Reception Dress

I think most brides like the idea of having a reception dress. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian do it all the time. But what real girl can afford a second dress? Designers have finally heard our cries and have started designing some of the most amazing convertible wedding gowns.

Wedding gowns that turn into party dresses is nothing new, but I think that this round of convertible gowns is better than they have been in the past. Before they were mostly tear away skirts that were Velcro, which limited the style of dress that could be converted. Now the skirts are more securely attached and more seamless looking.
