A Prayer Request From Suzanne

When you purchase a dress from me and we go through the alterations process together, I feel that something wonderful happens! You are more than just a bride to me. We become friends.

Just such a friend reached out to me yesterday. She was a bride from eighteen months ago. She called and asked me if I remembered her and I did. She told me that she had been on a citywide search for white satin and had, thus far, come up empty handed. She told me she said a prayer and then my name popped into her head!

She asked if I could supply her with white satin. When I asked her why, she shared her heartbreaking story. After six months of pregnancy, the unspeakable had happened. Her baby was prematurely born into this world with under developed lungs. After only a few minutes of life, she and her husband lost their precous baby boy. The satin was to make a gown for his funeral.

My heart was pained and I felt compelled to share this story so that others could help me pray for the family's consolation. I was honored to be a part of this bride's wedding and I am equally honored to be a part of her life as well.
